Cordici The eighth edition of the award has not been achieved. The city administration has not taken charge of economic support, albeit small, which allowed us to achieve the Award.
I think that this adventure ends here.
For me it was an experience of great emotion and interest.
I thank all those who participated by sending their work and their work, not just those that have won awards and we have known.
All together we have developed a culture of reflection and awareness of the deeper problems of human beings.
I thank the members of the jury who believed in this and experience this adventure of the spirit and friendship: Bishop Angelo Spinillo, Bishop of Policastro and Teggiano, Elio Pecora, writer, importantly, national and international reputation, Francesco Sisinni, Senior official of the state, well-educated intellectual, Biagino Limongi, a man of culture and school, sensitive and competent, Judge Don Elia, discreet, caring, educated writer history.

human race sadly accustomed to the darkness,
no longer believe in the light.
And when the heat reaches its el'avvolge,
in a gesture of surprise, almost di spavento,
chiude gli occhi, cerca rifugio
nello spazio già noto dei suoi bisogni.

Era accaduto già in principio ad Adamo ed Eva,
e poi a tanti e tanti di questa umanità
povera, errante in una terra arida e deserta. (Sal 63,1)

E fu così anche per tanti di quei cinquemila
che mangiarono i pani su cui il Signore aveva reso grazie;
ma poi, abbagliati dalla sazietà,
in quel dono non riconobbero il segno,
la presenza di Colui che,“pane disceso dal cielo”,
offre “la sua carne per la vita del mondo”. (Gv 6,51)

Fu così anche per i pastori di Betlemme,
a guardia del loro gregge, in quella notte santa.
Nella confusa, noiosa miseria delle cose di ogni giorno,
a quei pastori fu annunziata
“una grande gioia… per tutto il popolo”,
e il segno vivo: “troverete un bambino”. (Lc 2,12)

L’amore vive, sempre, nel segno
che lo dona e lo annunzia, che parla e chiama.

Siate pieni di gioiosa speranza, fratelli.
In ogni notte della vita
possiate incontrare il segno grande e certo dell’amore di Dio,
Gesù, Colui che ha “parole di vita eterna”. (Gv 6,68)
